Standup Comedy
My standup style is mostly one-liners or self-contained jokes, which more than one comedian has told me are hard to write! I’ve only hit open mic nights so far and haven’t tried to pursue a featured spot or a paid gig, though I did come close to winning prize money a couple of times!
One of my first sets! To my advantage, the audience was VERY drunk.
The only halfway decent video I’ve managed to get was, unfortunately, my worst bomb. But, I wanted to include it because I think handling a bomb well is part of being a good comedian.
Some of the jokes here were in my other sets, but I refined them to be simpler. I need to work on Batman’s accent, though.
