Raised on Radio is my upcoming debut novel. I am in the final stages of polishing the manuscript and incorporating feedback from a California-based publisher.

It tells the story of Andy Lake, a 14-year-old amateur radio DJ whose overpowered garage setup is seized by the FCC. Her quest to go legitimate leads her to discover a strange signal on the far end of the AM band that plays nothing but her deceased mother’s favorite music.

The Signal originates from a bizarre, dilapidated radio station in the woods outside of town inhabited by Kip, a lonely and mysterious man whom Andy is sure knows more about the otherwordly Signal, her mother, and Andy’s destiny than he lets on.
